Plan a welcome video

Use an approved, supported video URL. We confirm playback, placement, and permissions before launch.

Tag the places that matter

Add context to showroom displays, service check-in, customer amenities, and delivery areas with text, images, and useful links.

Put video where it helps

Embed supported welcome clips, service explainers, or vehicle feature videos in tags, so the content belongs to the space.

Give interest somewhere to go

Link a tag to your existing test-drive form, service scheduler, brochure, or current inventory page. Make the next action easy to find.

One asset. More opportunities.

Bring the dealership
into your follow-up.

A customer does not have to find the tour on their own. Your team can put it into the conversations they already have—then point customers to the areas and information that answer their questions.

  • Welcome shoppers before a test drive
  • Introduce the advisor before a service visit
  • Show delivery areas and explain pickup
  • Reuse the link across email, SMS, and your website

Cox Automotive · 2025 Car Buyer Journey study

Customers want online and in-person experiences to work together.

63% of surveyed recent car buyers considered a blend of online and in-person activities ideal. A dealership tour gives you another way to connect online exploration with a real visit.

The study covers the broader purchase journey; it does not measure a tour-specific sales or review-rating lift.

02

Capture and put it to work

Create the agreed media, publish it in the right places, and equip your team with useful links and wording.

Good questions. Clear answers.

Can you add videos and clickable information to our tour?

Yes. Matterport tags can add information and supported media to specific areas. We can plan welcome videos, amenity details, brochures, and links to your existing inventory or scheduling tools. Your proposal defines content creation, setup, and updates.

Can we keep our current website and marketing agency?

Yes. We can provide the capture and media assets, then coordinate agreed tour placement with your website provider or agency. The scope will define who handles each step.

Are Matterport and Google tours the same thing?

They are separate deliverables. Matterport provides an interactive digital twin, while Google 360 imagery has its own publishing workflow. We will recommend the combination that fits your goals.

Does the tour show current vehicle inventory?

A facility tour reflects the dealership at the time of capture. Current inventory, pricing, and vehicle condition should remain in your live listings or a current vehicle video.

Can we start with one dealership?

Yes. Start with one rooftop, choose the areas and touchpoints that matter most, and review staff adoption, engagement, and customer response before expanding to more locations.

How is pricing determined?

We quote around your facility, capture areas, selected media, publishing work, and rollout requirements. Hosting is required for every new Matterport project and is priced separately in your proposal. Choose monthly billing or save 25% on hosting by paying annually.

How do we know whether it is working?

Agree on the measures before launch. Depending on your setup, track tour visits, website inquiries, appointment attendance, and customer feedback. The pilot can test whether tour links improve a specific touchpoint; outcomes depend on execution and your wider sales process.
